I bought Apple iPhone XR thru Apple online customer sales and the price was close to $1000 but when I finally got around to find a carrier Verizon and the setup of my BYOD with help of Verizon staff as I could not activate over phone cause I forgot what my 4 digit security pin so I had to go in person .Everything was great til maybe a month later when iMessage encryption broke and I was sim swapped and lost my LTE connection that went to OTA activation! I am over 60 and was freaked so I called Apple and returned the new iPhone expecting to get a new iPhone XR but what i got was a model N and it had to be used as scratches on screen glass! But the encryption issues got even worse with crazy stuff like settings secure privacy settings getting turned off and then a call from my bank stating I had a $750 charge for vzwdigital chat and if it was fraud !! Oh yes it was but worse this debit card from my bank I only use on my iPhone XR under wallet and associated with cell ph number !I am within 2 months limited warranty and called Apple and demanded I get the replacement value of the iPhone I bought and then I would purchase a different more reliable model and pay the difference since the original iPhone XR deemed defective maybe within 30 days of setting it up with a carrier but when I return it I expected a brand new iPhone with M model number not a N and scratched screen glass but express replacement lady I ordered and paid in full $ 1300 for iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb well she said Apple would give me $249 for my iPhone XR and I would get the new phone within 3 days but it had been over week and they keep delaying the order and I plan to contest the fee they want to give me for my iPhone XR !Any one had issues similar to mine ?Cathy
There are several ways that you can get help with your AirPods from Apple. The first option (and often the fastest option) is to visit an Apple Store. It's a good idea to make an appointment before going as the store can get busy at times. u003cbru003eu003cbru003eUnfortunately, for a lot of consumers, Apple stores are few and far between. The beauty of this method is that it can be done without needing to authenticate with Apple. There's an option to log into the page with your Apple ID, but it can provide the details you need with just the serial number and not your account credentials.
One thing that this last method relies on is getting the serial number of the product in the first place. Ideally, you should record the serial number and keep it safe, as a form of proof of ownership, though not everyone does that.
In many cases, your Apple device's serial number may also be located on your Apple ID page. This could be extremely handy if you don't have physical access to the device at that moment in time, but urgently need the serial number.
In the event that you cannot access the internet, there is the old fashion way of pop-in one of the Apple stores. Armed with your smartwatch, the customer service will be able to check if your product is covered. You can either have the receipt or the watch if the serial number is visible on the device.
In addition, the company specifies that the warranty does not apply to damage caused by service performed by an unlicensed service provider or using the iPhone "outside Apple's published guidelines." The company also doesn't cover products modified to alter functionality, defects caused by normal wear and tear, and devices on which the serial number is not visible. Lastly, even though the iPhone 14 series is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance, Apple does not cover liquid damage under its limited warranty.
Keeping track of your warranty, its type, and the time period left before it expires, can be quite a headache. Even more so, if you own multiple Apple products. Through this guide, we will tell you three methods to check for the same, with ease.
As mentioned earlier, Apple offers a Limited Warranty of one year with all its products, along with 90 days of complimentary Technical Support. You can check Apple warranty status for your devices and Apple support coverage by visiting its check coverage website as explained below:
My Support App by Apple facilitates its users to check Apple warranty status on their iPhones. It is a great alternative to check Apple service and support coverage, especially if you are using multiple Apple devices. Instead of having to constantly go through serial numbers or logging in with your Apple ID every time, My Support App provides the required info with just a couple of quick taps on your iPhone or iPad. 2ff7e9595c
